How to find and read existing Gazette content
Finding content
Back issues
- Individual back issues are available on our Archive content page for the current year only.
- Combined volumes for all years other than 1979/80 are available on the Gazette's archive site, hosted by Figshare and enabled by the Sustainable Digital Scholarship service. More information and individual links are available on our Archive content page. Volumes which are more than 80 years old are fully accessible to all readers; volumes since 2010 are available as redacted files to all readers, and as complete files to current/retired University members with a SSO account.
Searching for content
- The search bar at the top of all Gazette webpages may be used to search this site, and search results should include content in PDFs. Please note, however
- To help with finding specific items of content, a index page listing all content published during a year and arranged by its subject is available on our Archive content page. The page is created week by week, to enable easier browsing through all examples of each type of notice during the year. This exists for each year since 2020/21.
Statistical information
- Statistical information on the University published annually in the Gazette is no longer published separately. This information can be found in the complete volume for the year in question (the information is contained in both redacted and full versions of the volumes since 2010) on the on the Gazette's archive site.
