The Gazette publishes a variety of notices submitted by and on behalf of the collegiate University, some of which are official notices and some unofficial. 

If you have a notice you would like us to publish, please see our Formats and Deadlines page for details of how and when to send us your notice and the style and format to use.

Publication dates and deadlines

Copy deadlines

Gazette copy received will be published in the next available issue. Copy for supplements and classified advertisements must be received by noon on Wednesday of the week before publication. Inclusion is subject to availability of space.

Occasionally it is necessary to vary these deadlines. Notice of any variation will be given in the published Gazette and on this webpage.

Publication schedule

The Gazette is published weekly throughout the academic year (September to July), but not continuously over the vacations. A series of supplements is also published, giving further official information of various kinds. The first issue of Michaelmas term and the last issue of Hilary term are restricted to Council and Congregation business only.
