Come visit us

Our 2026 undergraduate Open Days will be held on 1 and 2 July and 18 September. More information will be available on our website from early 2026.

It can be expensive to get to Oxford, so some colleges are now offering to help with the cost of travel to attend Open Days. In the meantime, you can get a sense of what the Open Days are like by viewing the timetables for the September 2025 events, including college and department timetables, and watching the video below.

You are very welcome to come and visit at another time. College grounds are usually open to prospective applicants but you can also get in touch with the college linked to your region and let them know you are coming.

You may also be able to attend an event listed in our outreach calendar while you're here. Subject departments are not open to visitors except on Open Days or for specific outreach events.

Department timetables

Oxford students are not only members of a college, but also members of a department with access to libraries and facilities. Depending on the course you choose, you would usually have your lectures and do any laboratory work in your department with students from other colleges.
