We have developed this Trailmap in consultation with a wide range of fixed-term researchers and other colleagues to help you plan your researcher journey.
The Trailmap is designed to help researchers balance care for oneself, one’s research and one’s career. It also helps academic managers/PIs to have more structured and development-focused conversations with researchers at their induction and in ongoing, regular meetings.
When employed at Oxford, researchers can click on the links in each box to explore resources relevant to their individual timelines and goals. These include tips on settling in and meeting more researchers, steps for ensuring research integrity, guidance on planning professional development time and annual Career Development Reviews, and how to access tailored careers information and support.
