Professor Irene Tracey, CBE, FRS, FMedSci, became Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford on 1 January 2023. She was previously Warden of Merton College, Oxford, her alma mater. She is also Professor of Anaesthetic Neuroscience in the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences.

There are over 400 clubs and societies at the University of Oxford which cover a wide variety of interests that you may wish to join. Accommodation

Colleges provide accommodation for all undergraduate students during their first year of study and for at least one other year of their course. Many colleges are also able to provide accommodation to graduate students.

While most students walk or cycle while in Oxford, you can take advantage of a range of discounted bus services providing quick travel around the city as well as regular connections to London and major airports.

Full and part-time on-course matriculated students may order University of Oxford branded business cards, where the requirements for Leave to Supplicate for your current programme of study have not yet been satisfied. If you are uncertain whether you are eligible to order business cards please contact the Reprographics Office.
