The Green Templeton library is open twenty-four hours a day providing key books in all focus subjects and quiet study spaces.

Recently upgraded Wi-Fi access is available across the whole college site and annexes, including all student rooms. Printing facilities are available on the main college site, accessible twenty-four hours a day.

Green Templeton has on-site facilities for tennis and squash, a multi-purpose gym building, and a popular boat club based around the college boathouse at Longbridges. The college is actively involved in a variety of sports and students are encouraged to form teams around their preferred sports if not already represented at the college.

Other college societies include the Richard Doll Medical Society, a Global Health and Care Systems Society, Allotment Society, Book Club, and a variety of musical groups including a Big Band and Community Choir. There is a music room available in the 18th century Observatory Rotunda.

A number of academic activities in various disciplines are based at Green Templeton, and regular lectures take place in term-time. Funding is available for student-led academic activities, such as the annual Human Welfare Conference hosted at the college.

There is a college-facilitated personal and professional development programme with interactive workshops to develop emotional intelligence, greater awareness of self and others, improved presentation and negotiation skills, as well as a popular personal coaching scheme.

The library is accessible. The lecture theatre has lift access and is fitted with a loop aerial for use with hearing aids. The dining room on the ground floor of the Observatory is accessible via a ramp.

A limited number of parking spaces are available at college houses and at Rewley Abbey Court.

Green Templeton has an experienced welfare team holding various roles to support students with their health and wellbeing throughout their studies. This includes the Dean for Welfare, Senior Tutor, College Nurse and College Doctors, Junior Deans, Peer Supporters, GCR Welfare and Equality & Diversity Representatives. Support for disabled students is coordinated by the Academic Registrar who is the college welfare lead and first point of contact for issues relating to health and welfare. Junior Deans and Peer Supporters are themselves graduate students and receive training to provide frontline response, signposting and friendly, confidential support as appropriate for welfare-related issues, whether ongoing or urgent. All college students are automatically members of the Graduate Common Room (GCR), which is the equivalent of the MCR in other colleges. Activities are based around the Stables building in the centre of the college, which houses social gatherings and has a lounge area and hayloft work space which transforms into a setting for film nights or games.

The GCR Committee organises social and sporting events throughout the year, many of which are free. These include activities specifically aimed at students with partners and/or families in Oxford.

Green Templeton can usually provide up to two years’ accommodation for all students who request it, and approximately 35% of students are housed by the college each year. Single rooms are located on site or in the nearby annexes about half a mile north of the college, all with access to full kitchen facilities. Shared and self-contained flats are located about a mile from the college - at Rewley Abbey Court close to the Saïd Business School. The college also owns a number of terraced houses bordering the main site that are suitable for families. 

Accommodation is allocated on a first come, first served basis usually opening in May each year for new students, and a waiting list normally operates for later applications. Students requiring couples or family accommodation are particularly advised to apply early as this is limited and in demand.

The Green Templeton dining room allows students, fellows and all other college members to dine at a common table.

Hot and cold buffet lunch is available in the college's dining hall from Monday to Friday for 48 weeks of the year (excluding December/January and August closure periods). Students receive a discount when they charge lunches to their college account using their University card.

Informal suppers are held on Tuesdays during term-time, and formal dinners are held on Thursdays year-round (except for closed periods), with additional four-course special guest night dinners held twice termly. Further information is available on the college website.
