Information on the examinations and assessments process at the University: from entering for examinations through to accessing your results.

Examination entry

Make sure you have completed each of the following steps to ensure that you are entered for the correct assessments.

Examination adjustments

You should apply for exam adjustments after matriculation and no later than Friday of Week 4 of the term before the exam is due to take place.

Timetables

We expect the majority of timetables to be published at least six weeks in advance of the date of the first examination, but for some courses where the entry window is close to the examination dates (particularly during the re-sit period in September) there will be a short delay.

Problems completing your assessment

There are a number of University processes in place to help you if you find that illness or other personal circumstances are affecting your ability to attend exams or submit assignments.

Results

Once your results are released you will be sent an email informing you that your assessment results and the result for the year (if applicable) are available to view in Student Self Service. If you have completed your studies you will also be able to view your final classification.
