About us

Teddy's intake of approximately 110 undergraduates, selected on merit and irrespective of background, comprises students with academic ability, passion for their subjects and the potential to excel.

The origins of the College can be traced back to the 13th century; today, it is a beautiful blend of the old and new. St Edmund Hall has buildings dating from every century since the 16th. This includes the atmospheric college library set in the reconfigured Norman church of St Peter-in-the-East.

We have thriving sports teams, as well as a long tradition in music, creative writing and journalism. We provide college grants and awards to fund academic materials, travel and extra-curricular activities, as well as prizes for high achieving students.

Do you choose a college?

Not exactly. You can put a college's campus code on your UCAS form to specify a preference but you might still be shortlisted and offered a place by another college.
